Welcome

At Lingwood Primary Academy, we strive to ensure our children have the highest quality education as well as gaining a breath of experiences through our curriculum.

The children at Lingwood Primary are inspired and enthusiastic learners, who are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and challenge themselves every day.

About us

Learning

Our curriculum is designed to ensure that pupils leave Lingwood Primary not only prepared for the next stage of their school career but prepared for life.

We are committed to providing a curriculum which is broad, balanced, sequential, and progressive.

Our education

Parents

At Lingwood Primary Academy, we believe that in order to provide a successful education for every individual child we must work in partnership with parents.

We have high expectations of ourselves, our children and our parents and carers. Together, we develop all areas of academy life, with clear expectations from all sides.

Headteachers Update This week, the children have certainly made the most of the sunny weather. It has been so lovely to see the playground pals and children using our new playground equipment. The sound speaker and pom poms have been a big hit! Fantastic idea school council. We love to hear pupil voice. Today we all got involved in supporting Miss Long by wearing green and going outdoors to walk some steps. We wish her the best of luck tomorrow on her mighty hike. Next week, we will be getting involved in the Mental Health awareness week. It will also be time for our Year 6 pupils to shine in their national curriculum tests. Thank you to all the parents who came Wednesday evening. It was really positive meeting and we are looking forward to our next chapters to improve our school. Have a lovely weekend. Enjoy the sunshine. Miss Laycock

Headteachers Update What a whirlwind of a second week. Amongst the children working hard across the curriculum, we have had the Norfolk County Council mental health team visit to deliver workshops to Year 6. The Bikeability team were in to provide enrichment opportunities for Years 3 and 4 and Mrs Walker took the Year 4s to Norwich Theatre Royal to watch their core text performed live on stage. We also had our summer term parent's evening. Thank you to those who attended, it was great to hear feedback. If you missed out on a meeting - please contact the class teacher so they can arrange an appointment with you. Miss Laycock
